Died: Nov 1998 Husband: John Regan, married January 1930, died in 1968 Has Westlund, married April 1979, died 1990 Daughter & Sons: Wayne (died in motorcycle accident in 1949 at age 18), Bruce, & Gail Grandchildren: John Birrenbach, Mark Regan, Marie Birrenbach, Karen Birrenbach, Scott Regan, Peter Regan, Mike Birrenbach, Nancy Regan. Great Grandchildren: Many Schooling: Attended School of Hard Knocks Gourmet Cooking Shool in Chicago Church membership: Church of St Stephen, Mpls, MN Work Career: At age of 14 began work as an acrobat for the circus, she also did contortionist, slackwire, and other acts. After the circus Thelma worked in a "Medicine Show" with a monkey, Vaudeville in Chicago. Eventually ending up in the Food Service industry in the Twin Cities area. She worked at such places as Osceola Tavern (during prohibition), Emporium, Tracadero, Parker House, River's Edge, Women's City Club in St Paul, George Conroy's, University Club as the Catering Manager until 1983. She did not retire, at age 75, she quit to take care of her ailing husband. Service Clubs and Community Activities: Member Minnesota Restaurant Assoc, Senior Volunteer Program, Advisory Council at the Senior Center, Senior Advisory Council at St Stephens Church. Work related activities: Member Minnesota Restaurant Assoc Quote: Some consider me to be a workaholic, but I've alwasy lived by the motto, "If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it!", and I am that person.
