Directory Submission
The hottest thing right now on the internet is getting your site submitted to directories. Not just the big three Yahoo, MSN, Google but rather the literely THOUSANDS of other directories that are out there.
At last count there were 1600 directories, that I know about, that will take and list your website for FREE!. Yea I said for FREE. Some of them want a link back to thier diretory but a HUGE number of them will take your link without a link back to them. Search engine optimization as it is now called, is basically a series of steps that are taken to a website so that the search engines find it to be "more friendly" to their "spiders" which search the net.
