I write occasionally for an online magazine, when I do I promote it on the net and tell people where they can find it. What is shown below is the previous two weeks hit count for the site and then the week when I promoted the artcile on the web. In each case the hit count for the pages increased considerably over the weeks previous with the exception of the week of 10-24 to 10-30 when I had another article appear on their site.
