I am John Birrenbach and ran the Institute for Hemp, was Freedom Fighter of the Month & Year, Have written for High Times, Hemp Times, Hemp Today, and many other pro-legaization organizations.
I have recently uncovered a box of these Hemp Cotton Sweaters in storage and thought I would offer them up for sale to liquidate them. All are New, In the Original Cello Wrapper, One Size Fits all like the one pictured here.
The Historic Nature of this item.
Back in 1989 the only product made from hemp in the United States was the Hemp Cotton Shirts from Sativa Creations of Canada. And they had to come through Canada to Reach the shores of the United States.
The very next product to come out of China made from hemp was to the US and was a series of Hemp (55%)/ Cotton (45%) Knit Sweaters. Imported by Steve Orgel & House of Hemp of Portland OR, these were the first products imported directly to the United States, and along with Alex Shums shirts started today's Hemp Industry.
