These are just a few of the most recent things GSE has done. As always you can see an entire timeline of the history of the facility at this link -- click here --

GOPHER STATE ETHANOL CEASES OPERATIONS - May 14, 2004 . Due to the high price of corn GSE has decided that they can no longer profitably make ethanol and have ceased production. On Tuesday May 11th they ceased processing of corn and for the following two days completed production of the final batch.
May 4 2004 - GSE gets a pass by the judge and city in it's failure to comply with the odor standards as defined in the Settlement agreement.

April Mid 2004 - GSE Attempts to get nearly half a million in past due bills to City of St Paul added to it's already well over $1 Million in due property taxes owed on the property. Not the first time they have done this, the first time the City has said NO WAY. GSE forced to pay bill, bill paid a day before due.
